RETIREMENT AND COMEBACK She decided to retire from gymnastics after the 2012 Olympic Games in London but returned to the sport in early 2014 and rejoined the Western Australian Institute of Sport [WAIS] in Perth, WA, Australia. "I missed having what felt like an important purpose; I wanted to compete for my county again. I missed my friends and coaches in the gym." She was named as a non-travelling reserve for the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland and the 2014 World Championships in Nanning, People's Republic of China. Her first major international tournament after her return to the sport was the 2015 World Championships in Glasgow, Scotland.
