||"My older sister and I did swimming club on a Friday night, and she was sick of being cold from getting in and out of the water. My parents decided that little athletics would be a better fit for a Friday night and it all went from there."

||In early 2012 he suffered a small tear to his calf muscle during training. He recovered in time to compete at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, but tore the calf muscle in his other leg 100m into his 1500m heat.
