When and where did you begin this sport? She started playing hockey at age 9 while she was at school, but didn't start taking the sport seriously until after grade 12.
Why this sport? She played hockey because she thought softball didn't have enough running in it. She decided to concentrate on the sport after she made her first British Columbia team.
