Injuries In 2010 she suffered from dengue fever after competing at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi. The eight-week ordeal effected her mentally for a year. At the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro she suffered a stomach virus which caused her to lose approximately 3.5kg. She was so weak and unwell that she had to be fed intravenously. (nationalpost.com, 16 Dec 2007)
