When and where did you begin this sport? He took up the sport at age 12 in Perlis, Malaysia.
Why this sport? His father encouraged him to take up the sport. "I was into several sports at school, such as football, athletics and badminton. One day, there was a state coach scouting for diving talents and I just joined out of fun. I went to the try out and was chosen to be on the Perlis state team."
