MAKING A DIFFERENCE
For the start of the new millennium, an internet poll saw her voted as one of the '50 Singaporeans who could make a difference' in changing the sports landscape in Singapore. The athletes were placed into the levels at which they were expected to make an impact - at either Olympic Games, Asian Games or SEA Games - and she was one of only three who was placed in the Olympic category.
