FIRST GRAND MASTER BOWMAN In 2010 she became the Isle of Man's first Grand Master Bowman, the highest standard which officially recognises her as being in the top 1% of competitive British archers. “I am delighted to have finally achieved this standard having been so close last season [she missed out on the status by one point in 2009] – I am so proud to be able to say that I have been able to help push the standard of Manx archery to this level," she said. She credited coach Peter Mumford, Joy Gough from Isle of Man Archery Club, Britannia International and her employer Bridson & Horrox Limited [office supplies] as essential to her success.
