Sport Specific Information
When and where did you begin this sport? She began competing at age 15.
Why this sport? Both her parents are smallbore shooters, and she says she was also motivated to pick up shooting out of boredom. She enjoys it because it is a sport of individuals that sometimes work as a team.
Club / Team Maidstone Outdoor Smallbore Rifle Club: New Zealand
Training Regime She has created a 'training room' in her house where she uses a Russian-made programme consisting of a laptop and a laser attached to a rifle which allows her to trace her shot development. She trains for about 20 hours a week, split between her training room, her rifle range and competition events.
