Other information HUSBAND AND WIFE TEAM
He met his wife Dianne Blaymires at the Ballinger Belt in 1985 and married later that year after only just returning to the sport. She has been the only woman to win the Ballinger Belt since it's inception and also won a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games in 2002 when they both competed for New Zealand.
