When and where did you begin this sport? He began playing at age two in his hometown of Yamba, NSW, Australia. He was coached by his father Steven Pilley at the local courts [which his parents bought when he was eight] until he was selected for a squash scholarship with the Australian Institute of Sport in 2001.
