With two goals against Ghana in January 2013 she became the first player to notch 250 international goals. She had previously become the all-time leading scorer in senior international women's hockey in June 2011, surpassing the previous record of 220 held by Russian Natalya Krasnikova. RETIREMENT AND COMEBACK
She retired from international hockey in 2006. During her break she studied sports medicine at the University of Johannesburg, became a paramedic and opened 15 hockey clinics in South Africa. She announced her decision to return to the national team in July 2010. (dailymail.co.uk, 17 Feb 2012)

COACH
In 2014 she was appointed coach of the women's team at Wits Hockey in South Africa. She had previously worked as head coach of the University of Johannesburg hockey team and as an assistant coach at Indiana University in the United States.
