NATIONAL FIRSTS She was the first Australian to win medals in consecutive Commonwealth Games in different sports. She won gold and silver at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in artistic gymnastics, and silver at the 2006 edition in diving. She was only the third Australian athlete, and first female, to compete at the Commonwealth Games in different sports, after Ray Rigby [weightlifting in 1970 and athletics in 1974] and Angus Waddell [athletics in 1982 and swimming in 1990].
