Injuries |
While competing in the 2011 Grand Prix Diving Championships in Penza, Russia she hit her head on the 10 metre platform while attempting a dive. She was pulled from the water unconscious and taken to hospital, but fortunately avoided serious brain or spinal injuries. She has a large scar across the top of her head from the incident.
