TRAIN DRIVER She works as a train driver in order to find her athletics training and competitions, but admits that it's sometimes hard to combine the two things. "It's a stressful business learning and all that goes with it," she said. "Learning the routes so thoroughly took another six months. I just couldn’t focus on athletics at the same time. The thing that I lose out on the most is sleep. Work comes first because it funds my training. Training comes after that and then I sleep." (bbc.co.uk; dailymail.co.uk; 31 Jul 2008) |
