INSTITUTE He has attended the AIS. (ACGA 2006)
FLAWED RANKING SYSTEM In 2003 he was ranked world number four and had been ranked in the top ten for over two years when a back injury forced him from the tour for an extended period. On his return to the tour his ranking had dropped to 262 in the world which meant that he was forced to qualify for tournaments that earlier he would have bypassed because of their poor standard. He qualified for, and played in, six consecutive tournaments and went on to win them all. In one match against a Mexican local player ranked 275 he won 11-0 11-0 11-0. This situation has exposed a flaw in the pro ranking system which is a major debating point in international squash and has come to be known by some as the 'Boswell Factor.'
