He emigrated for family reasons to Australia's Gold Coast in 2004 where he played for Sunnybank, before moving to New Zealand in 2006 to play for Tasman. He spent a year with Toyota Shokki in Japan in 2007, before moving back to Australia. In 2010 he was playing for Gold Coast Breakers, but in May he played in a sevens tournament in England where he professed a desire to return to his home country.
