I have been studying sports psychology and philosophy, so as to curb me from ‘choking’ in competition, & perhaps give me a psychological edge over my opponent. (Falklands Islands Overseas Games Association, 16 Jul 2002) |
Memorable sporting achievement |
I played in the last Commonwealth Games in 1998. I got through to the second round thanks to a bye and the seeding system, which put me up against the number 18 in the world at the time, a Malaysian by the name of Wong Choon Hann. Needless to say he scraped through the match beating me 15-1 15-2, then continued on to win the gold medal. (Falkland Islands Overseas Games Association, 16 Jul 2002) |
