| Other information | PHL CHAMPIONSHIP CAPTAIN He has appeared in both editions of India's Premier Hockey League [PHL], captaining the Bangalore team on both occasions. After a fifth-place finish in 2005, he captained the side to the championship in 2006. (Rediff, 02 Feb 2006) PAKISTAN ASSIGNMENT During September 2005, he played for the Northern Cavaliers in the Pakistan Hockey Federation's [PHF] inaugural PSO Super Hockey League in Pakistan, scoring a goal in the final against Sindh Qalandars, but finishing as a runner-up after a 4-3 defeat. (International Field Hockey, 20 Sep 2005) TOP SCORER He was India's leading goalscorer in the 2004 Indo-Pak Test Series, scoring five goals as India lost the series 4-2. He was also India's joint top scorer [with Sandeep Singh] at the 2004 Champions Trophy in Lahore, Pakistan, with three goals.
