She and duet partner Sarah Bombell both have a tattoo of the Southern Cross on their right foot. They decided to get the tattoo after they were selected as Australia's duet for the 2005 World Championships in Montreal, Canada. She also has a tattoo of the Olympic motto 'faster, higher, stronger', written in Chinese script under the Olympic rings and surrounded by bubbles near her left ribs.
