LONDON FRUSTRATION She missed out on qualifying for the 1500m final at the 2012 Olympic Games in London by one position. Of the 12 finalists to compete in the event, six have since failed doping tests. "You can't drive yourself crazy. There have been lots of races in my career that have been tainted, but in life there's always people who will take the high road, and people who will cheat. I just know I've chosen the right route, I'm proud to run for my country, and there's nothing I can do about other athletes. I hope I get the opportunity to compete in Rio with clean athletes. I know it doesn't make up for 2012, but it would help that the sport is moving forward in the right direction." (therecord.blogs.com, 09 Jul 2016; olympics.cbc.ca, 21 Jun 2016)
