Why this sport? |
Her first experience of athletics came at a sports day in Kingston, Jamaica. "I started running, and I really loved it growing up. Jamaica has some very good sprinters and it was challenging for me. I was a good sprinter but it was so challenging that if I made the finals I was always seventh or eighth. I decided to try something else, and I asked my coach if she could recommend me to a specialist, a hurdles coach, and she asked him." |
