Other information RETIREMENT
She has indicated her intention to step back from international hockey after Rio 2016 in order to start a family with her husband Scott. "The only thing I am sure about is that my husband and I want to start a family, so that's going to be the priority after Rio. For me it will be just taking a back step from hockey and allowing him to pursue his career. He's teaching, so it just depends on where he's working and I'll be the supportive wife for him." (dailytelegraph.com.au, 02 Apr 2016)

BREATHING PROBLEM
She has suffered from a recurring breathing problem during her career that doctors have been unable to diagnose. She had to work with a speech therapist in order to improve the problem. "Every time I tried to get air in it was like trying to go through a needle hole." (heraldsun.com.au, 04 Mar 2012)

SYDNEY 2000
She watched Australia play during the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, and had the chance to meet some of the players. "Mum told me to get their autographs, but I was too shy. I eventually went and did it, and it was probably one of the highlights of my younger years. This is why it is so surreal and strange now to have kids coming up to me doing the same thing."
