QUARANTINE World Athletics [IAAF] excluded him from the 400m final at the 2017 World Championships in London, England, following fears he had the norovirus and that he could be contagious to other athletes. Having missed the heats, he was granted a time-trial to compete in the 200m once his 48-hour quarantine period was over and was able to qualify for the semifinals.
