BANDAGED HEROINE During the semifinal against Netherlands at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, she was accidentally hit on the head by the stick of opponent Ellen Hoog, who was attempting a shot at goal. She was left with blood running down her face from a wound, but despite the injury she returned to the match after receiving stitches, staples and heavy bandaging around her head.
