OLYMPIC IMPACT
He is keen to point out the individual nature of his sport and hopes the 2012 Olympic Games may encourage more people to try it. "Shooting is all about self-improvement, you can't cheat yourself. It's also just a bit different and I would encourage everyone to have a go. Especially if you don't like running much that rules out sports like football, rugby and tennis, but there are lots of other sports you can take part in. Have a look at the Olympics to see the sports on offer and just give them a go." (idolmag.co.uk, 23 May 2012)
