He started swimming because it was fun and he loved the water. His parents used to have to drag him out of Sylvan Lake on family picnics because he didn't want to leave. He started taking swimming seriously after watching the 2000 Olympic Games on television with his family. He turned to his mum and said 'I want to be like that'. |
