Other information SUSPENSION
He received a 500 GBP fine and a four-week suspension from the Rugby Football Union [RFU] in May 2010 after he was involved in an on-field fight with Worcester teammate James Collins. The fracas occurred following a game against Leeds a month earlier in which Worcester's relegation from the English Premiership had been confirmed. The incident initially began as an altercation in the stand between the pair's fathers, which in turn caused both players to become involved. RFU disciplinary chief Judge Jeff Blackett said, "It is important that we mark their conduct with a meaningful sanction which included suspension. Chris Cracknell will miss the London Sevens, which for an England rugby sevens player is a substantial hardship." (telegraph.co.uk, 11 May 2010)
