FROM INDIA TO CANADA Born in India, he began his schooling there before moving to Canada with his parents in 1998. His love of field hockey over ice hockey comes from his heritage. "Everyone plays ice hockey in Canada. It's very big. No one really prefers to play field hockey but I took to the game because of my father, who is very passionate about the sport."
