| Why this sport? | She was inspired to take up the sport after watching Indian shooter Tejaswini Sawant win gold at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, VIC, Australia. Although rifle shooting was more popular, she took up pistol purely for convenience. "Wearing the suit and setting up the equipment in rifle shooting was too cumbersome for me. So I picked up the pistol where I could shoot wearing my jeans and t-shirt." |
