Other information FUTURE 1500M RUNNER
She sees herself running the 1,500m in the future but it won't be for a few years as she still needs to increase her strength. "As a youngster my endurance wasn’t the best so it will take a while to build that up. When I’m ready and have got the endurance I need, then I’ll move up. I still think that I’ll always be able to run a really good 800m, but if I want to look at medals then I think it will be over 1500m," she said in 2012. (athleticsweekly.com, 31 May 2012)
Awards and honours She was named the 2012 Female Sports Personality of the Year at the City of Stoke-on-Trent Sports Awards. (bbc.co.uk, 14 Mar 2012)
