Sport Specific Information
When and where did you begin this sport? "I got into athletics through my local club, Stubbington Green Runners. They were holding the annual 10k fun run. I was doing my Sunday morning paper round so I phoned my dad from the paper shop, asked him to run me round in the car and bring some trainers and something to run in for me. I entered the race, won it, signed up to the club that day and went from there. I was 14, I think."

Other information NANNYING AND RUNNING
Between 2014 and 2016 he ran a nanny business called 'Athlete Mannies' in London, England. "I previously did combine part-time work as a nanny with running, but it was tricky to balance it with high mileage and racing all over the UK and sometimes abroad. It fitted in really well around my training, meaning I could run in the morning, rest, then pick children up at 15:00, look after them for the afternoon, then run again at 19:00. The parents were really understanding of my need to sometimes take time off for training camps or races abroad, but then I had a great year in 2014, made enough money to survive without the work, and, with the 2016 Olympics fast approaching, I needed to concentrate on running full-time again."
