In June 2018 he was part of an Indian Para swimming relay team that successfully swam the English Channel between England and France. He dedicated the achievement to his father who had died two years previously. In August 2019 the team also successfully swam the Catalina Channel between Catalina Island and mainland California in the United States of America.
